Fragrance Profile:
The first extrait edition in BDK Parfums' Collection Matières, and a richer, more mature reimagining of one of the house's best-loved compositions. Inspired by founder David Benedek's childhood memories of Moroccan gazelle horn pastries at his grandparents' home in Paris — orange blossom, almond, and warm spice at the table. Orange Blossom and Cosmofruit open with a luminous, slightly fruity and gently floral brightness that is softer and more expansive than the original EDP. Pistachio Cream, Tonka Bean and Cinnamon build a warm, nutty and quietly spiced heart of real indulgence — deeper, denser and less overtly sweet than its predecessor. Saffiano Leather, Vanilla, Tobacco and Amber close with a smooth, dry and deeply enveloping base that gives the extrait a grown-up, sophisticated finish the EDP never reaches.

Performance:
Above-average longevity with a warm, skin-close projection. The leather-vanilla-amber base carries steadily for eight or more hours, with the dry-down widely considered the finest stage of the composition.

Ideal For:
Autumn and winter, and evening or special occasions. A genuinely unisex oriental gourmand for those who loved Velvet Tonka and wanted more depth, leather and maturity — less milky, less sweet, more refined.
